After the 'J2' Midget was introduced in 1932, the MG factory built forty 'F2' (+F1372)
two-seaters with the same body style. The 'F2's shared the mechanical improvements
of the 'F3' (e.g. the 12" brakes and usually the extra cooling pipe from the radiator).
N.B. Many replicas have since been anachronistically created by converting earlier cars
- some have even been falsely claimed to be genuine when they are clearly not!
