After the '
J2' Midget was
introduced in 1932, the MG factory built forty 'F2' (+F1372)
two-seaters
with the same body
style. The 'F2's shared the mechanical improvements
of the '
F3'
(e.g. the 12" brakes and usually the extra cooling pipe from the
radiator).
N.B. Many
replicas
have since been anachronistically created by converting earlier cars
- some have
even been falsely
claimed to be genuine when they are clearly not!
