A 6 cylinder in-line engine of only 1271cc, with overhead camshaft, non-crossflow head
and twin SU carburettors. Camshaft drive is by bevel gears via a vertical shaft. A large
finned sump and camshaft cover of alloy and a fan are fitted to aid cooling. It would be
the basis for development of later 6-cylinder engines such as that of the 'K3' Magnette.
