The standard
Carbodies Salonette body was also fitted to
the '
D' and '
J' type
Midgets.
With steel panels over an ash wood
frame, it had a sliding glazed roof panel and drop-
down rear panel that gave access to
the petrol filler and served as a luggage rack.
With leather-covered pneumatic
upholstery - 'bucket' seats for driver/front passenger
and a small
rear bench seat - it had two front-hinged doors, sliding side windows
and a
fold out
windscreen. The spare wheel was normally hung at the side on a bracket.
