The standard open Tourer body made by Carbodies was also fitted to the 'D' type Midget.
Constructed of steel panels over an ash wood frame, it had a locking door for the filler to the petrol tank fitted in the rounded-off tail where the spare wheel was normally hung. With leather-covered pneumatic upholstery - 'bucket' seats for driver and front passenger and a small rear bench seat - it had two front-hinged doors and a fold-away canvas top.
