THE COBRA IN THE BARN: Great Stories of Automotive Archaeology:
Ed. Tom Cotter A collection of accounts of Americans who have tried - not all successfully! - to find and recover historic cars of all sorts and periods from their hiding places. Not technical, but not as romantic as people might assume, this book relates many interesting cases of 'barn finds' including one 'F' type - F0948.
MG: THE SPORTS CAR SUPREME Joseph H. Wherry Wrongly touted as 'the first book to cover the entire history of MG', this is quite an interesting book from the American point of view, and includes numerous photos not seen elsewhere - particularly those taken in America. It includes several of F0555, which now, alas, seems to be in hiding. More personal than the British books, it refreshingly complements them.
GREAT MARQUES POSTER BOOK: MG Chris Harvey As it says on the label, this is simply a poster book and the pages are clearly designed for detaching and framing, so we shouldn't expect much in the way of text beyond the brief details included on the back of each picture. Nevertheless, there's a striking photo of F1376 on the cover and another featured inside.
